Bio

Graham Baker.
Graham Baker (known as Graham Simpkins in the movie) is the older brother to Iris Baker. They both live in Surrey, England. Their father is an author of historical novels, their mother is a noted editor at Random House, Iris is a writer for a local newspaper, and Graham is a book editor. Two years ago, his wife passed away, leaving him with two daughters, Olivia and Sophie. He's had multiple one-night stands to try and escape his life as a father, and no one's seemed to have stuck. Most women, if he tells them about his family, back off and tell him that they'll call him the next day. None ever do. He's a dedicated father, and figures that's what most people get put off by. He's not going to abandon his duty or responsibility to be a good parent to his two girls, nor would he want to.

He's very chatty and loves having conversation. He's an all around nice guy who's been hurt one too many times to trust people fully. It takes him a long while before he really opens up to someone and really lets his true self be known. He's still waiting for that to happen, and has started growing a bit more pessimistic as the days wear on.

He frequents the local pub most nights, and when he's had too much to drink, he'll spend the night at his sister's cottage so as not to get behind the wheel. This has led to some interesting and awkward situations/conversations, but they've all managed to laugh it off the next morning. Or something like that.

As an OOC note, I am playing Graham prior to meeting Amanda Woods (Cameron Diaz). At least until I get a better grip on him.
